The Great River Nymph, commonly known as the river girls, are an open species nymph that are often found in rivers, lakes, and other freshwater bodies.

River girls live in large groups, making their towns in caves and underwater. They rear their young together as a tribe, laying about three to four eggs at a time. They can be both on land and underwater, as long as they don't dry out.

All river girls have webbed hands, feet, and a long, powerful tail which they use to swimp up rapids and waterfalls. Some are strong enough to uproot trees with their bare hands! At times, they use this strength against their rivals, the Rougarous.

One of the most iconic details they have is their large, fin-like ears. They also are able to give others the ability to breathe underwater with a magic kiss!

Making Your Own

Here's some things to keep in mind when you make your own river girl!

•River girls are freshwater nymphs, meaning they usually stick to lakes, streams and ponds!

•Unless injured, all river girls have a large fluke (a whale-like tail fin) and fish-like fins around their ears.

•Usually, their scales range from greens, blues, purples and sometomes reds. Like fish, though, they can have many different colors and patterns!

•As their names implies, river girls are all born female-- aside from a few girls who have intersex parts, with both a functioning vagina and penis. All river girls can give birth, and can become transmasc if they so choose.

•They can breed with humans and other beasts! Most often than not, the baby will be born a river girl from the river girl parent, or will be born female with super strength and the ability to breathe underwater from the other parent.

•Most of the time, while their scales are one general color, their vaginas, labias and penises are extremely colorful. Each labia has a different color, lip shape, and size!
